Re-decorating Saturday

I am a creature of comfort and really like my home to be as comfortable as I can possibly make it; especially my bedroom. So today, I've been spending the day searching Pintrest for ideas on how to re-decorate my bedroom and found some really fantastic ideas.

I love the hipster, boho, hippy home decor, and I've started to decorate my room this way so it wasn't too hard to copy some of the ideas I found.

I had a tapestry so I hung it over one of my bedroom windows to give it some darkness. I get all the afternoon son from that window and it leaves a glare on my TV, so it fits in perfectly with my hipster, boho, hippy decor and blacked out the sun. Two birds, one stone.



The sign at the top of the page that says "Bonjour," is a sign my daughter bought for me yesterday knowing I LOVE Paris France decor. I've been collecting it for many years now. I thought it was very thoughtful of her to buy it for me. She also bought me a matching table runner. They go well with my bedroom decor because, it's not just the hipster, boho, hippy decor, it's also Paris France, books and everything that makes me...ME!

I'm not a fan of the colour purple but this one I don't mind too much. This is the table runner I mentioned above that my daughter bought me to go with the "Bonjour" sign.

I really want to do the makeshift canopy over my bed. It's really not that hard to do. I just need some curtain rods to fix to my ceiling then hang the sheer curtains from that and add some lights. I do need a few more tapestries and a floor mat or small rug and some more plants; maybe some records... Like I said, I want to hit up the thrift store to see what they have.
