Amber Heard from Princess to Monster
Amber Heard from Princess to Monster.
Amber Laura Heard (born April 22, 1986) is an American actress and model. Born and raised in Texas, she made her film debut in a minor supporting role in the sports drama Friday Night Lights (2004), followed by a series of other small roles in television and film. Her first leading role was in the horror film All the Boys Love Mandy Lane (2006), but it was not released in the United States until 2013 due to distribution problems. Her second major role came in the short-running The CW television series Hidden Palms (2007).
I saw the movie All the boys love Mandy Lane, it wasn't fantastic but, it did showcase how well Amber plays a psycho!
I've never heard of the TV series, Hidden Palms, probably explains why it's not on TV anymore. It obviously didn't do well.
Heard's breakthrough came in 2008 with roles in the action film Never Back Down and in the stoner comedy Pineapple Express, which were both box office successes. The same year, she received the Breakthrough Award at Young Hollywood Awards. Heard continued her career with roles in films such as The Informers (2008), The Stepfather (2009), Zombieland (2009), and The Joneses (2009). In 2011, she played the female lead opposite Nicolas Cage in Drive Angry, and opposite Johnny Depp in The Rum Diary; neither were critically nor commercially successful. Subsequently, Heard appeared in 3 Days to Kill (2014), Magic Mike XXL (2015) and The Danish Girl (2015). She also starred in the indie film The Adderall Diaries (2015), the television musical drama One More Time (2015), and the Martin Amis adaptation London Fields (2018). The latter was due to be released in 2015 but became the subject of a series of a lawsuit between its director, Heard, and the film's production company over disagreements in its editing and other issues. The film was finally released in 2018 and was both a critical and commercial flop.
I am not a big fan of comedy films, especially stoner films. I didn't bother to watch Pineapple express, I'm sure the stoners of the world liked it though.
I don't remember Heard in Zombieland at all!! Her blip in it must not have been memorable. I did, however, see the Run Diary, didn't like it much. It was not a good movie and I was surprised by a Depp film. Johnny usually does really good movies. I didn't find the chemistry between Heard and Depp very good, seemed really forced and uncomfortable.
Magic Mike XXL was a FLOP from hell! Her part in it was sad and pathetic. They really could have done without her.
In 2017, Heard acted as part of an ensemble cast in the indie film I Do...Until I Don't (2017) and made an appearance as Mera in the superhero film Justice League (2017). She reprised the latter role opposite Jason Momoa in Aquaman (2018), which became the most profitable DC Extended Universe film up to that point, and the fifth highest-grossing film of 2018.[4] The same year, Heard was also named a global spokesperson for the cosmetics giant L'Oréal Paris. In 2019, she appeared in supporting roles in the independent films Her Smell and Gully.
Most of these movies I haven't heard of, explains a whole lot. I don't remember seeing Heard in Justice League at all!! WTF?!? What part did she have in Justice League? Was she really in it? Do I just not like her that much I blackout when she comes on screen? Seriously?
Aquaman could have picked a much better actress to play Heard's part. I found her very stone-faced and her acting poor. I didn't like her in this at all! The chemistry between her and Jason was REALLY BAD!! It seemed like he couldn't WAIT to get away from her!! The movie could have been so much better with a much better actress. I really hope for Aquaman 2, they pick a more seasoned actress that can actually act.
I've seen her commercial for L'Oreal Paris hair dye and I REFUSE to buy the product because she promotes it. I won't buy a product from someone who promotes lying, FRAUD, and ABUSE! I used to buy this product all the time. Since she's been promoting it, I've switched to another brand.
In addition to her acting career, Heard engages in activism for causes such as LGBTQ rights and domestic and sexual violence awareness. She is an American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) ambassador and has been named a Human Rights Champion for the Stand Up for Human Rights campaign by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights. From 2015 to 2017, Heard was married to her The Rum Diary co-star Johnny Depp. Their divorce drew significant media attention as Heard alleged that Depp had been physically and verbally abusive towards her through most of their relationship. In 2019, he sued her for defamation after she discussed being a victim of domestic violence in the media. He claimed that Heard had, in fact, abused him; Heard denies this and has repeated her allegations.
I find this VERY IRONIC!! She stands up for the rights of domestic and sexual violence yet, her ex-girlfriend was going to have Heard charged for abuse against her; then changed her mind and dropped the charges!? Why?! Did Heard talk her into it, threaten and or bribe her?
Now, Heard has been proven as a violent person and abuser herself against Johnny Depp! Hitting, punching, throwing things at him, cutting off the tip of his finger and more. She has NO RIGHT to be standing up for ANYTHING! She is a monster and abuser herself!! What a disgusting PIG she is!
Heard was born in Austin, Texas, to Patricia Paige (née Parsons), an internet researcher, and David Clinton Heard, who owned a small construction company. She has a younger sister named Whitney. The family lived outside Austin. Heard's father broke horses in his free time, and she grew up riding horses, hunting, and fishing with him. She also participated in beauty pageants, although as an adult she has stated that she could no longer "support the objectification". When Heard was 16, her best friend died in a car crash. Heard, who was raised Catholic, subsequently declared herself an atheist. Around the same time, she began reading books by writers such as Ayn Rand, Ray Bradbury, and George Orwell and began questioning society around her. At the age of 17, she no longer felt comfortable in Texas and dropped out of her Catholic high school to move to New York City. She eventually earned a diploma through a home-study course. In NYC, she supported herself through modeling but soon moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.
You know, with all these bad media against Amber, I wonder what her Mother and Father think of her and all of this? Where are they? What is their stance on this? Do they support her now that the truth has come out? I wouldn't! I'd be ashamed of her, ashamed to be connected to her.
I think Amber needs to go back to her roots, living in the country, riding horses and relaxing. She needs to get the hell out of Hollywood and take the time to heal and better herself. She needs to get back to her religion, Catholic, have an exorcism and get the demon out of her!! LOL!
In 2017, Heard appeared as part of an ensemble cast in Lake Bell's indie comedy I Do... Until I Don't and joined the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) cast as Mera, Aquaman's Atlantean Queen, in the superhero film Justice League. She reprised the role the following year in Aquaman (2018), which co-starred Jason Momoa, Nicole Kidman, and Willem Dafoe and marked Heard's first major role in a studio film. She has stated that one of the reasons attracting her to the part was Mera being "a strong, independent, self-possessed superhero in her own right", who rejects being called Aquawoman instead of by her own name. Aquaman became the fifth most profitable release of 2018 and the most profitable DCEU installment up to that point. The same year, Heard was appointed global ambassador for cosmetics giant L'Oréal Paris.
In 2019, Heard played supporting roles in the independent dramas Her Smell and Gully. Her upcoming projects include the CBS All Access miniseries The Stand, based on Stephen King's eponymous novel and co-starring James Marsden, Odessa Young and Henry Zaga.
The movie I do...until I don't sound PERFECT for Heard, makes sense as that's how she likes to live her life. Again, I really hope she is not in Aquaman 2; they really need to rethink her casting. She doesn't deserve to be in such a great film alongside a great actor such as Jason.
L'Oreal Paris needs to drop her as well. Because of Amber's lies and fraud, Johnny lost a lot of money and projects; she deserves the same to happen to her, if not more so!
Actress Amber Heard said Johnny Depp physically assaulted her during their 18-month marriage.
But the revelations in an audio-tape - provided to DailyMail.com - seem to raise questions over who the victim really is, with the hashtag #JusticeForJohnnyDepp now trending.
In a 2015 taped two-hour therapy session, Aquaman actress Heard, 33, is heard talking to actor Depp, then her husband, about their strained relationship, admitting that she hit him, and had previously thrown pots and pans.
"I don't know what the motion of my actual hand was, but you're fine, I did not hurt you, I did not punch you, I was hitting you," said Heard.
Depp, 56, admitted that he had pushed her.
In the tape, he suggested that the two took time out to prevent their relationship from getting more physically tumultuous.
Heard said: "I can't promise that it will all be perfect. I can't promise you I won't get physical again. God, I f***ing sometimes I get so mad I lose it."
Depp, in response, said: "I love you and I want you to be my wife. And I wanna be a good husband. If I haven't been, I'll do everything I can to find out how to be a good husband."
The pair married in February 2015 but split up less than two years later when Heard had a restraining order slapped on Depp over allegations that he threw a cellphone in her face at their Los Angeles home.
They eventually agreed to a US$7 million divorce settlement in August 2016.
But the ill feelings cropped up again after she wrote in a 2018 article: "I became a public figure representing domestic abuse, and I felt the full force of our culture's wrath for women who speak out."
Depp, who was not mentioned in the article, took offense, saying that the article dented his reputation and caused him to lose his prized role of Captain Jack Sparrow in a Pirates Of The Caribbean movie.
He has filed a defamation lawsuit against Heard and it is set to be heard this year.
His suit says she "hit, punched and kicked me. She also repeatedly and frequently threw objects into my body and head, including heavy bottles, soda cans, burning candles, television remote controls and paint thinner cans, which severely injured me".
Heard has also submitted a court filing that includes photos of bruises and scars as well as pictures of smashed up furniture to showcase the violence she was allegedly subjected to after she hooked up with Depp in 2011.
Fans Want 'Justice For Johnny Depp' After Amber Heard 'Hitting' Audio.
I'm one of those fans! I knew from the get-go that Amber was full of shit! She had zero proof other than a tiny bruise that looked like it was makeup put on her face and a few sad photos. I've been a fan of Johnny Depp's since I saw him in A Nightmare on Elm Street. Never had I heard of him being violent against women in the news before Amber came along. For a man who's been in the spotlight for so long, if he was violent, you'd think the world would have heard about this before Amber.
Listening to the conversation, via audio given to Daily Mail, it sounds like they both acknowledged taking actions in anger at different times, with Amber Heard calling Johnny Depp a hypocrite and both agreeing they need to stop the physical violence before they turned into a crime scene and kill each other.
That being said, Johnny never said nor admitted to beating her as Amber has put it. If someone was attacking me and throwing things at me, I'd push them out of the way, too!
But since Johnny Depp's $50 million defamation case was tied to Amber Heard's op-ed piece about being a domestic abuse survivor -- which he claimed directly led to him being fired from Pirates of the Caribbean -- and this particular conversation centered around a fight Heard allegedly started, her admissions of violence were viewed by Depp's fans as vindication.
Pirates of the Caribbean will not be the same without Johnny as Captain Jack Sparrow, they just can't take him out of the franchise, he IS the franchise!
I want vindication, I want Amber to admit she is a monster, I want her OUT of Hollywood, to go seek professional help, go back to her roots and move on. She needs to get better, heal and acknowledge she's done some major harm to others and herself. She needs to hit rock bottom and come back up!
During the conversation released to The Daily Mail, Amber Heard and Johnny Depp tried to find a place of an agreement to stop being physical and find peace in the relationship. Here are snippets of the alleged transcript...

Since then, there have been continued back-and-forth allegations. Amber Heard's December 2018 op-ed never named Johnny Depp but was inferred to be about him to a point he found defamatory. Her supporters didn't want him in the Fantastic Beasts movies and his supporters tried to get her fired as Mera in Aquaman. (Depp was also accused of trying to contact Warner Bros.' studio head to get her removed from the first Aquaman movie.)
His defamation case was filed in March 2019 and it's been slowly chugging along. Officials in Fairfax County, Virginia granted a six-month postponement of the start of the jury trial due to Johnny Depp's team reportedly not meeting the deadline to produce court-ordered records on his drug and alcohol usage. So instead of the trial starting February 3, 2020, it was postponed to start August 3, 2020, per Deadline. James Franco is now involved, although he'd rather not be.
Since there's a trial coming up, it's possible both Amber Heard and Johnny Depp's respective franchise studios will just wait and see how this plays out before making any casting changes. Heard is meant to continue as Mera in Aquaman 2 and Fantastic Beasts 3 should be starting production any day now.
