Are you bitching to bitch or just bitchy in general?

Are you Bitching to bitch or are you just bitchy in general? 

I saw a blog that really annoyed me. I won't mention the blog or the person but, I do have to say something about it. 

This blog was someone complaining about their job. Buddy, be lucky you have a job!! A lot of people are struggling to find work. Also, you seem to think you're pretty funny in your bitchy posts but, you're really not funny at all. You come across as a bitchy person who's ungrateful for making money the natural way.

This person is a waiter and is bitching that they make little money, have to serve people and work a relentless job that gets them little tips and respect. Sorry Honey, if you want a better job than being a waiter, go back to school and study so you can do something else. Stop your bitching, you can do something about it, it's not like you're trapped in this career. 

I have nothing against waiters and waitresses, I was one. I actually quite enjoyed being a waitress where I worked, my boss was fantastic, the restaurant was great and the customers, most of them were awesome. I did also work at a Chinese and western serving restaurant in a small town just off a main highway. We would get our usual customers that would come in everyday, every weekend or every once in a while. I got to know the regulars very quickly and they got to know me; some would even ask for me if I wasn't there. Some would tip really great and others either didn't tip or would leave a really poor tip. That was frustrating. 

I did a lot of work for a lousy tip. I would go in for my shift and cash in, set up, do and or finish the other shifts dishes, prep the food, clean, set up the Chinese buffet Friday and Saturday nights, take down the buffet, do the dishes again (and again and again), put everything away, clean (again because I never left a mess for the next shift), I'd cash out and in between all of this, I would take orders, serve the orders and drinks, take the phone calls and do the takeout orders meaning, I had to package the food, fill the bags, set them out and give them to the correct customers. There was zero room for error. My boss did not accept mistakes. I had to be on the ball constantly. 

For this guy to complain on his blog that he wasn't being paid enough for what he did yet, he got FREE food and FREE drinks when on shift, SHUT THE FUCK UP! You're making an hourly wage, getting tips AND FREE food and drinks! How can you complain? Not many jobs offer that. I didn't get all of that when I was a waitress. I got to take home what was left from the buffet Friday and Saturday nights but, other than that I had to bring my own drinks or drink water and did NOT get free meals. NOT even if I worked from 11am to 9pm!! If I wanted a meal, I had to BUY it! 

I am pretty sure if this guy does this much complaining, he isn't doing his job very well and really should rethink his career. I know it can be fast cash on hand when you get good tips and most who are in the waiter and waitress career live off tips in between pay days, but man, if there's so much to bitch about, you're doing something seriously WRONG! 

There were a lot of days I really didn't want to be at work, serving people their food they didn't feel like cooking at home but, I went in and "tried" to put on the happiest act I was able to muster out. Of course, there'd be people that would come in and I'd cringe just seeing them, knowing they tip really SHITTY and knowing they are the WORST to serve because they CONSTANTLY are asking for something over and over and OVER again. FUCK... GO HOME!! 

Of there were the people who'd come in 15 minutes before closing and would EXPECT you to stay open until they felt like leaving. NO FUCKERS!! There are OPEN and CLOSED hours for a reason! I don't care! When people would do this, I'd tell them straight up, "We close in 15 minutes you can either eat REALLY FAST, have some TAKEOUT or go next door to Dairy Queen that is open until 10pm." Some would order takeout, some would go next door and some, the really IGNORANT ones would BITCH at me for having hours assigned to close. TOUGH SHIT BUSTER, I am not here to wait on you hand and foot at the hours you want. You want to make your own hours, PAY MY ASS EXTRA for this because my boss did NOT!! 

If I had to stay later my boss would "sometimes" pay me the extra time but most of the time, he'd be a cheap ass and wouldn't pay me that extra time. He'd "round it off" and usually round it off LOWER! 

This guy on the blog was bitching he wasn't making good tips. Well, that depends on if you're a good waiter. If people don't like your service or don't like you, they aren't going to tip well. People like it when you're friendly, not in their face a lot, on the ball with their drinks and food, don't make them wait forever for their bills and your appearance has a lot to do with it as well. If you look miserable and sloppy, you're NOT getting those good tips. 

I usually made between $50 and $100 a NIGHT if I worked the evening shift. If I had to work the lunch shift, which I hated, I wouldn't make fuck all. 

Everyone is in a rush at lunch time and don't like to tip. They seem to think that because they get takeout means, I am not doing as much work! SCREW YOU! I do just as much work doing the takeout as I do serving you if you sit inside. I still have to take your order, give it to the cook, package your order correctly, give your additions like soy sauce, forks, spoons, knives, fortune cookies, napkins, etc... and I don't just grab a handful, I have to count that shit out. Then I have to bag your order and make sure it gets to the correct customer ALL while taking more orders, serving people inside and cleaning up. So, next time you think a waitresses job is an EASY, LAZY job... think again and do NOT leave that tip jar empty! And for God's sake, don't leave our asses 25 cents or 50 cents, this is NOT 1950, we can't buy SHIT with that! 

I think this so called waiter wasn't or isn't making good tips because A) he looks kind of crazy!! If he was serving me, I'd think he was sort of on the CrAzY side!! He also doesn't appear to be a waiter. His choice of clothing to wear for being a waiter is not what I'd expect to see a waiter wear. And his hair... OMG, TAME THAT SHIT! His hair is a CrAzY mess that needs to be washed, cut and tamed. Use some styling product and like the song says, "Get a hair cut and get a real job..." LOL! 

I have to wonder what his boss thinks of him constantly bitching on his blog about his job; if he knows at all? If I was to do that, my boss would have FIRED my ass in seconds of reading it. 

Maybe this guy is just a bitchy blogger or bitchy person in general and says all this shit for attention; he looks like someone who'd do anything for any kind of attention. Actually, he looks like someone who should be performing magic tricks at a child's Birthday party, not serving food at a restaurant. 

This guy needs to just SHUT the FUCK UP, quit his BITCHING and find a new career and shit to blog about. I'm no better bitching because he's bitching and I'm sure someone will bitch that I'm bitching because he's bitching and we'll all be bitching on blogs about being Bitchy bitches!
